Who we are

The Vacceos we are one of thirteen tribes participants in the recreation that of the Wars of the people Cántabro against the Roman invader, representing in turn for other thirteen legions, is celebrated from the year 2001 in the Cantabrian locality of Los Corrales de Buelna.

At present, our group is formed for near eighty persons, of which approximately twenty are children. Inside the organizational aspect, we take charge of the celebration of the Cantabrian wedding and the concert of Celtic music and folk, in the latter case, together with the tribe of the Settlers of the Vindio. Declared party of tourist regional interest has grown spectacularly, so much in participants, as in public's assistance.

The most important personage of the tribe is Pallantuo, our chief, courageous and implacable with the enemy, and that from the year 2002 is represented by Txisko Sáiz Villegas.
